The 31st annual EnerCom Denver – The Energy Investment Conference is set to feature SM Energy President and CEO Beth McDonald as a keynote speaker. The event, which gathers a broad coalition of private and public energy sector entities, investors, and analysts, will take place on August 19, 2026, at the Westin Denver Downtown. According to Oil & Gas 360, McDonald joins a prominent group of speakers, including Liberty Energy CEO Ron Gusek, at what is described as the largest independent investor conference for the global oil and gas industry.

Beth McDonald brings more than 25 years of industry expertise to the keynote stage. Since her appointment as CEO in January 2026, she has spearheaded the high-profile merger between SM Energy and Civitas Resources, a move designed to enhance the company's footprint across critical U.S. shale plays. Before taking the helm at SM Energy, McDonald held leadership roles at Pioneer Natural Resources Company, focusing heavily on South Texas and the Permian Basin, following earlier engineering positions at Hess Corporation and Total E&P USA.
